The effects of Frances McDormand's epic Oscars speech are already taking hold.。

On Sunday, after winning the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, McDormand finished her speech with a phrase many people hadn't heard of before: "inclusion rider".。

In a nutshell, an "inclusion rider" is a contractual clause that requires a certain level of diversity to be met in a film. 。
